Piles Precuations

As in our previous post it is clearly mentioned that ,piles happens due to not having proper food and digestion.

Here we are providing the Precaution list of Piles.

Food Precautions:

Food precautions will be for 15 days before medications and 30 to 45 days after medications. You have to follow these
100% to cure this permanently.

1. Stop using Tea/Coffee, Cold drinks or any other hot/cold market beverages. Do not consume any packaged drinks, health drinks, energy drinks, juices etc. In place of these please drink water as much as you can.

2. Do not use Sour taste (Khatti) items (Tamarind, Lemons, Pickles, Tomatoes, Curds, Buttermilk, oranges, citrus,Vinegar etc.) in your food. Do not consume anything which is prepared by adding sour taste items as mentioned
 i.e. Sambhar, rasm, vegetable curries. All the preparations have to be with out adding sour taste items.

3. Stop eating non-Vegetarian food completely i.e. chicken, mutton, fish, eggs, sea food, and packaged non-vegetarian food. No junk food of any kind outside or prepared at home i.e. noodles, burgers, hamburgers,sandwiches, chips, fries, pizzas, chats etc.

4. Do not use any bakery food i.e. bread, biscuits, cakes, pastries, cream, butter, mayonnaise, fries, chocolate,candy, biscuits, cookies etc.

5. Stop chilies in any form i.e. red, green, chilli powder and raw chilies and Spicy Food at all. No Deep fried and Oily food. Use boiled food during the treatment period. Best practice it to cook for you self. All the preparations shall be boiled and with out chilies, oil and spices. (How to cook can be provided separately)

6. Do not use heavy milk products i.e. Cheese, Paneer, Khoya, mawa , milk cakes, ice-creams, curds, buttermilk,sweets of any kind. Milk can be consumed once in a day in the morning 100-200 ml.

7. No Heavy Pulses i.e. Black Grams (orid), kidney beans (Rajmaha), black eyed beans (Lobia), soyabeen, white channa (white chick pea) etc. No items which contains heavy pulses for preparations i.e. idli, dosa, vada etc.
 You can have rava idli, green grams + rice idli or dosa.

8. No drinking at all and smoking and chewing of tobacco have to be avoided completely. Use of any other chemical based drugs and seducers are completely prohibited.

9. Avoid long journey; sitting for long hours, after every 1 hrs sitting session please have a 10 minute walk or standing gesture. No late night working or awakening. Maintain a habit of early to bed (9:00pm) and early to rise (4:00 – 5:00 am)

10. No heavy exercises i.e. long running, weight lifting, laying for long hours in sun etc. but a complete bed rest is not required.

11. Stress plays a very major role in malfunction of our digestive tract, so always be stress free and practice yoga and Pranayams techniques for stress relief. Mild running, walking, jogging, Suryanamskar etc. (Not Now Once
instructed)

What to use: (Compulsory)

1.Water and Fluids:

a. Drink lots of water (4-5) litres in a day. Drink only 100- 200ml of water at once, and always sip the water while drinking, before swallowing keep the water in mouth and rotate for 5-10 seconds and then swallow.

b. Drink water at least 30 minutes before food, never during the food, and drink water only after 1- 1.5 hrs of food.

c. Drink water (200ml) kept in a copper vessel for overnight early morning empty stomach. Always wash the vessel before keeping the water.

d.Drink 200-300 ml of warm water immediately after getting up in the morning and 200-300 ml of warm water in the night before going to bed.

e.Drink fresh water of coconuts as many as you can have daily (if available).

f.Drink 1 spoon of Triphala powder mixed with warm water (200ml) every day before going to bed. (Compulsory)

Juices:

a.Drink Radish Juice 50-100 ml thrice in a day. Morning 1 hr before breakfast, 1 hr before lunch and 1 hr before dinner. Add radishes permanently in to your salad. During the whole treatment period. Or further instructions. (compulsory).

b. Drink vegetable juices i.e. carrots, mint leaves, ginger, red beet root, cucumber, bitter gourd, bottle gourd,ridge gourd.

c.Drink Fruit juices i.e. papaya, watermelon, coconut, guava etc.

2. Pulses and Grains:

  a. Eat light and Semi solid food. Include light pulses i.e. Green Grams (Moong Dal), Arahar dal (Yellow dal),Masoor Dal (Red Lentils), Channa Dal (Split chick pea), Tooar dal (pigeon pea), Red Grams, Horse Grams, peas, moth beans, etc.

b. Always use fiber rich cereals and millets i.e. Wheat, sorghum, bajra, ragi, corn, rice, brown rice, barley, oats, etc.

c. Use light, liquid and semi solid food i.e. semi solid mixture of rice and vegetables, rice and green grams, vegetables with dry wheat chapattis, vegetable soups.

d. Eat soaked and sprouted Green Grams and Chick Pea (Ankureet Moong and Black Channa) soup at least 4-5 times a week or if possible daily.

3. Vegetables and Fruits:

a. Always eat fiber rich fruits i.e. Papaya, Fig, Watermelon, Pomegranate, Apples , pears , apricots,blueberries , kiwifruit , pomegranates ,avocados , banana, mango, Bel, Jamun (Jambolan), Amla (gooseberries), black currants, white currant and rhubarb etc.

b. Always eat fiber rich, fresh and leafy vegetables i.e. Radishes, carrots, turnip, leafy vegetables, beans,cucumber, garlic, lauki (bottle gourd), bitter gourd (karela), tori (ridge gourd), palak (spinach), peas fenugreek (methi), chaukie, cabbage, brinjal, asparagus, red beetroot, banana stem, mushrooms, onions,
Yam etc.

c. Can eat fiber rich fruits and vegetables i.e. Papaya, Fig, Watermelon, Pomegranate, Guava, Radishes,Carrots, Turnip, Leafy Vegetables, etc.

Suggested Food routine:

Breakfast: Have Daliya (Broken wheat)/Saviyan (Home-made wheat flour Vermicelli)/Fruit salad (Never eat only salad)/Upma/Poha /Idli (Rava idli only)/Glass of milk /oats/corn etc. Can have wheat chapatti with ginger +
Saindhav salt Chutney with spoon of home-made butter and glass of milk (at least 2-3 days a week) (All home made with out preservatives).

Breakfast time: Morning 7:30 to 9:00 Am, Quantity: Till Stomach full
Lunch: Preferred Moong (Green Grams) dal khichddi in lunch. Can have vegetables soup/green gram soup/brown chick pea soup. Can have Vegetables, dal and dry wheat chapatti only.

Lunch Time:
Five hours after breakfast Quantity: Half of the breakfast quantity
Dinner: Green Grams or any other light dal/vegetables with rice/roti with a half spoon home-made butter (No market butter) in dinner. All the preparation shall be with out spices, chilies and oil. Best have boiled food only. All the rotis, chapattis has to be made of wheat, ragi etc. flour (aata). Please do not use refined flour (maida) for any preparations.

Dinner Time: 6:30 to 7:30 PM, 
Quantity: Half of Lunch quantity

Note: You can avoid dinner with a bowl of green gram soup or a glass of milk 1 hr before going to bed.
